Rapid Speed Academy clinics focus on 4 critical aspects of training;

1. Balance and Coordination
   Balance and coordination are overlooked skills that can improve your ability to react faster in game situations, prevent injuries, and improve sport-specific skills.
   
2. Speed and Agility
   Speed and agility are built mainly through strength and proper running technique. Many people develop poor sprint patterns over the years that are harder to un-learn later in life. Learning the right way to run and cut at a young age can be a crucial step in your child's athletic development.
   
3. Strength
   Do we strength train with heavy weights for these kids? Of course not. We mainly use challenging bodyweight drills, with some unique twists, to build strength. We also introduce some low impact plyometric training, and practice some light weight training to teach proper form.
   
4. Safety
   And no matter what the skill is we are covering, our coaches always emphasize safety first. We take great care to make sure we create an environment that minimizes the risk of injury for our athletes. This requires quality supervision, which we provide in each part of our program.
