Plenty Valley Lions FC![]() Description: The club we know today as Plenty Valley Lions Football Club was the brainchild of a group of second generation Australians that were drawn together by their their passion for the world game. This group of passionate football loving friends formed the club with the aim of providing local football players with the opportunity to display their skills and passion in a friendly and team orientated environment. On the 19th May 1999 the club was registered under the name ‘Lerin F.C’ with the Amateur Soccer Federation of Victoria. Lerin F.C, as it was known in the amateur leagues, played its first game at the rear of Thomastown Secondary College in late 1999 before moving to I.W. Dole Reserve in Reservoir in April 2000. In 2003, the club entered the Victorian Soccer Federation (now FFV) and registered the name Plenty Valley Lions F.C as a way of depicting the local Plenty Valley region. The club moved to its current facilities at Bundoora Park Pavilion, Bundoora in 2005.
